Fully Assembled Version<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fully assembled version comes fully tested and ready to use. Just provide a microSD card.<\/p>\n

Kit Version<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the kit version, the SMD parts come already soldered. All you have left to solder are the header pins and the SCSI connector. These are through-hole parts, and it’s fairly easy to do if you have some soldering practice.<\/p>\n

You may also exclude the Raspberry Pi Pico completely, in which case you’ll have to supply your own, as well as headers for it.<\/p>\n

Pico Type<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can choose the traditional Raspberry Pi Pico or the Raspberry Pi Pico 2W (wireless).<\/p>\n

The Pico 2W provides improved performance in later computers (such as those with a SCSI-2 bus). In older machines however, performance will not be improved because the SCSI bus of the computer itself acts as a bottleneck and cannot process data quickly enough.<\/p>\n

You will need a Pico 2W to take advantage of the DaynaPORT Wifi feature: https:\/\/tinkerdifferent.com\/threads\/bluescsi-v2-daynaport-wifi-beta.2857\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The Pico will be flashed with the latest version of the firmware at the time of ordering.<\/p>\n

Printed Case<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can also get a 3D-printed case in the colour of your choice (or no case at all). Most colours are opaque, but “Translucent” lets some of the light from the LEDs shine through.<\/p>\n

Choose “Random” if you want a case but don’t care about its colour (it could be anything!).<\/p>\n

We ship from Belgium to all continental European countries, and all countries of the European Union. In nearly all cases, your order will be mailed as a letter, free of custom fees.<\/p>\n

This is a new version of the BlueSCSI v2 DB25, featuring a smaller form factor (about 30% less volume). In this model, SCSI termination is permanently on.<\/p>\n
